Send a Raven (“the service”) is operated by Existential Millenial LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Send a Raven.
Send a Raven is a long-form letter-writing service: you write letters, we deliver them by email or text, and the recipient can read and reply, with or without an account of their own. It is currently an early-stage pilot, run by a very small team, offered to a limited group of invited people.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
What you write is yours. By sending a letter, you give us permission to store, transmit, and display it as needed to run the service — for example, delivering it to the recipient and showing it back to both of you in your thread. We don’t read your letters for any other purpose, and we don’t use them to train anything or sell them to anyone.
You’re responsible for what you write and who you send it to. Don’t use Send a Raven to harass, threaten, or spam anyone, and don’t send letters on behalf of people who haven’t agreed to hear from you.
When you send a letter to someone new, you’re telling us it’s okay to contact them on your behalf using the phone number or email address you provide, and to hold a lightweight record for them so the letter has somewhere to go. Please only do this for people you actually know and who would genuinely want to hear from you — see our Privacy Policy for what that means for their information.
Send a Raven is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. As a pilot, it may have bugs, downtime, or features that change or disappear without notice. To the fullest extent the law allows, Existential Millenial LLC isn’t liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including a letter that’s delayed, undelivered, or lost.
You can stop using Send a Raven, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it, at any time — see Contact below. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.
We’ll update this page as the product changes. Meaningful changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
